Illinois State University students and all Student Fitness Center members must show proof of membership by presenting a valid ISU Redbird Card or Student Fitness Center membership card to gain access into the activity space at the Student Fitness Center. Campus Recreation is fully authorized to deny entrance to the Student Fitness Center without possession of valid identification noted above.

KNR students are required to present a valid ISU Redbird card to enter the activity space to attend class. If the student forgets ID card and wants to attend class, the student must go to the Campus Recreation Suite (Room 103) to get approval from receptionist to enter the SFC. This one-time exception takes time and may result in a late arrival for class.

Misuse of ID or Membership Card

ID cards and membership cards are property of the University. Misuse of ID’s to gain facility access is considered fraud. Campus Recreation team members will confiscate misused ID cards and will ask the person(s) to leave the facility. Misuse of an ID card may also result in loss of membership privileges.
